It is well known that maintaining functional strength, flexibility, balance, endurance, and coordination are important factors in living life to the fullest. It is not commonly known that various styles of Qigong, an ancient mind-body-spirit practice, provides exercise routines that can be utilized to improve and maintain functional fitness capabilities. In this session attendees will learn specific Qigong exercises that do not isolate muscles but provide whole-body functional movement patterns to improve an individual’s whole-body coordination and efficacy to perform a wide variety of daily functional tasks.
